For Those Who Take the Long Way.

Autofficina is a curated label of mid-century houses (1945-1975, or faithful restorations) available for rent. Each house may offer one or more vintage cars during the stay. Owners can apply to join; houses are accepted only if they meet the selection criteria.

Authentic mid-century, no star architect.

Recent build, rigorously faithful to the era.

The five criteria

    Integrity of the design, the structure and the relationship to the site.

    Interior

    Furniture, materials and editions consistent with the era.

  3. 03
    Landscape & roads

    Surroundings and roads worth the detour.

  4. 04
    Hospitality

    Welcome, cleaning, linen, availability of the host.

  5. 05
    Garage

    Safe shelter for cars, and preferably a car to share.
